This is an inclusive and safe respite program that gives students with disabilities ages 6 -18 the opportunity to explore, while providing parents and caregivers with a much-needed break from caregiving duties.

The Colorado Center for Rural Education is currently accepting applications for Colorado Rural Student Teacher stipends ($4,000) and National Board-Certified Teacher stipends ($4,250). Are you working toward an educator credential in an educator shortage area? Are you currently employed in a Colorado public school as a paraprofessional, alternative licensed teacher, or special services provider under a TEE authorization? CDE has a financial assistance program that can support you with up to $10,000 in one-time financial assistance. Recipients must commit to work in a “shortage area” for three years.
