San Juan BOCES Induction Program 2017-2018
The San Juan BOCES works with our member districts to provide a Colorado State Board of Education-approved Induction Program for the region. This program is offered on a yearly basis and requires registration (course information and registration below). An initial educators license is valid for three years and successful completion of induction is required for educators to move from an Initial License to a Professional License.
(Please read the information below carefully and refer to the CDE links provided at the bottom of the page if you have additional questions concerning your status and the licensing process.)
have a current initial Colorado License, with an endorsement in the same area as your current school assignment;
have a current assignment in one of the SJBOCES member districts.
We are currently finalizing the Induction program for the 2017-2018 school year. Our aim is to offer inductees a program tailored to their unique roles and contexts. For those interested in joining Induction this year:
