Induction Program
San Juan BOCES works with our member districts (Bayfield, Durango, Ignacio, Pagosa Springs and Silverton) to provide the state-approved Induction Program for the region. In order for teachers to move from a Provisional License to a Professional License, they are required to complete a state-approved Induction Program.
Colorado statute allows up to three years to complete an induction program. However, because of the nature and relevancy of the program, we encourage teachers to complete it during their first year.
