Alternative Teacher Licensure Program
ATLP is a state-approved, non-traditional teacher licensure program. San Juan BOCES contracts with Centennial BOCES to provide this program for the K-12 teachers of SW Colorado.
Teachers who participate in this program have been hired by school districts but have not completed a teacher licensure program through a university. By entering this program, teachers are able to complete one year of on-the-job training and receive their licensure.
